Join us as we commemorate the 60th reunion of Rondebosch Boys' High School's E'65 matric class, reconnecting old friends and celebrating cherished memories.
Programme of Events
Ice Breaker at Kelvin Grove
Join us for the Rondebosch Boys High School E'65 60th reunion, celebrating lasting friendships and cherished memories.
Location: Kelvin Grove Club
Time: 18:30 for 19:00 - Thursday 13th March
At Kelvin Grove in the Pavilion venue; 6:30 for 7:00pm.
Your name will be on a list with the guards at the gate; the driver of your vehicle will have to furnish a driving licence.
Dress code is smart casual.
Cash bar - you can pay for each refreshment by card or in cash. No tabs will be permitted.
There will be generous finger food snacks for your enjoyment.
Please collect your name tag on arrival, and your souvenir mug (if you pre-ordered it).

Details for the Saturday golf with Hugo Allison, the coastal walk with Rod Douglas and the Groot Constania walk with Dave Cornell will be shared. If you wish to participate, but will not be at the Ice Breaker, please contact the person concerned!
School and Boarding House Visits
Join us for the Rondebosch Boys High School E'65 60th reunion, celebrating lasting friendships and cherished memories.
Location: On main lawn at the School
Time: Friday 14th March
Access to the school via the Canigou Avenue gate; best parking would be down in the Oakhurst Field parking lot.
Meet on the lawn in front of the school building for these tours.
No booking is necessary. Don’t be deterred by other year groups (like E’75) who will also be on the lawn, and joining us.
Note that there will be staircases to climb on both tours, and if you are mobility compromised, these tours are not for you.
Meet at 2:30pm for the Boarding House Tour. Only those who were boarders at school can go on this tour.
Meet at 3:30pm for the School Tour.
OBU Dinner at Kelvin Grove

Venue: Kelvin Grove, Newlands. You must have pre-booked!
Dress: Suit or jacket & tie (Old Boys’ Union tie, if possible).
Saturday Activities

Golf with Hugo (083 785 2303).
Walk along the coastal path at St James with Rod Douglas (083 303 8533).
Join the walk at Groot Constantia with Dave Cornell (074 080 9023).
Sign up at the Ice Breaker or phone the leaders. Both walking groups will nominate a coffee shop as a base, for those who don’t want to walk!
Sunday Lamb Braai at RBHS Cricket Pavilion
Join us for the Rondebosch Boys High School E'65 60th reunion, celebrating lasting friendships and cherished memories.
Location: Cricket Pavilion at the School
Time: 12:00 - Sunday 16th March
12:00 noon, with meal served at 12:30pm.
Please collect your name tag on arrival; also any uncollected souvenir mugs (or mugs forgotten at the Ice Breaker!).
Bring your own drinks (and ice); glasses, cutlery and crockery will be provided.
Seating will be around tables in the Pavilion.
In the event of rain, things will be able to proceed indoors.
Enter the grounds via the Canigou Avenue gate, where the guards will be expecting you.
Parking is most convenient adjacent to the cricket pavilion building, in a car park which is below the Clent property, Sunnybrae Road side.
